The residency year is an extremely intense experience! Residents are scheduled for 40 hours per week and, in addition, participate in the on-call schedule (with back-up) during off-hours. Residents are expected to schedule paid time off (PTO) in advance and with the approval of the program coordinator. Residents are fully accountable to their patients and practice colleagues and are expected to complete all assignments and submit evaluations at the required intervals.

Feedback, coaching, mentoring and peer evaluation are gifts of the residency, along with formal precepting and instruction. CHC, Inc. has a culture of transparency and open communication. Opportunities for personal and professional growth through feedback and identification of potential growth areas is one of the unique aspects of the program.
